About Us
Your Child is in Great Hands
Philosophy
We believe that all children will be recognized as individuals, respecting each child’s differing abilities and skills. We will support all children to become confident and capable learners, whilst building children's self-esteem through a wide range of learning experiences. In our role as educators, we will assist children to achieve their full potential by extending and facilitating their needs and interests.
We recognize and acknowledge children and families' beliefs and values as well as respect the diversity and differences in their home lives. We model anti-bias practices that promote children's self-esteem as well as fairness, tolerances and an acceptance of all children, families, and communities. We aim to support and guide children to express their emotions in a constructive way.
We assist children to negotiate changes and make transitions to new settings, including school; and prepare and support these transitions by, building on children's prior knowledge and current experiences. This will enable a sense of feeling secure, safe, and connected.
We aim to provide a learning environment that is safe and stimulating, encouraging confidence in children, self-help skills, resilience and an environment that supports a play-based program. We believe that childhood should be filled with fun, happiness, and laughter.
Our Educational approach is one of play based learning, in which children can spend time playing and learning dispositions including: exploration, imagination, experimentation, curiosity and risk taking. Our educators strive to implement sustainable practices and to provide a service which maintains a high standard of hygiene and nutrition. We are dedicated to continual improvement through reflection of our own practices and procedures whilst meaningfully, documenting each child's growth and development.
The support and information given by the families is crucial to maintaining high quality care and education. We value the cultural and social contexts of children and their families, and we aim to promote children's cultural competence.
The early years are a time for a child to take pleasure in the here and now, to spend time playing and experiencing life's wonders.
As Early Childhood Professionals we are committed to achieving a high standard of work performance. We acknowledge and value the importance of the wider community and will endeavor to create and maintain links with the Centre.
Health & Safety
Our Centre aims to provide a healthy environment for all our children, educators and staff members.

By law, up to date immunisation records are required to be kept at the centre. Families are required to provide proof of immunisation on enrolment and any updates during their stay.

Nutrition is key to development and learning. Our centre is fully catered and menus are changed regularly, to provide a healthy awareness of food. Great care and consultation is taken by our staff when you enrol your child to ensure any special requirements are adhered to. We require you to bring a piece of fruit to be shared across the centre during snack times.

Please discuss your child's dietary requirements with centre management.

Our centre is a registered Sun Smart centre with the Cancer Council NSW. We promote a positive attitude towards sun safety and protection from the sun. Families are required to provide suitable clothing that best facilitates sun safety, as well as comfort, while
children attend the centre.
